I’ve spent the last 13+ years serving as a pastor, helping people understand the Bible and actually live it out. That same passion led me to start Rethink back in 2015—to create content that’s clear, honest, and centered on aligning your life with God’s Word.

I hold a BA in Biblical Studies from Ozark Christian College and an MA in Theology from Regent University. But more than anything, I’ve learned how to communicate truth through years of real ministry, honest questions, and walking with people through the highs and lows of faith.

My goal is simple: to help you rethink faith, Jesus, and what it really means to follow Him—not just in theory, but in the everyday.

My name is Jeffery Curtis Poor. Some call me Jeff, some Curtis. Honestly… I get confused too.

Married since 2013. We’ve got two boys—one born on Halloween, the other on Christmas. (Yes, really.)

I’m fascinated by who Jesus was as a person and how He interacted with people—especially the messy ones.

Still undone by God’s relentless pursuit of His creation.

I currently serve on the Spiritual Formation Team at Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette, Colorado.

I love ice cream more than you think is reasonable.

I like to win. My wife doesn’t love that about me.

Constantly torn between beach and mountains. Right now, we live near the mountains.

I’m a huge football fan. Born in Massachusetts… so, yes, that team.
